Lamé Delisle Boucard is now run by the fifth generation: Philippe and Patricia Boucard and Eric Degaugue and Stéphanie, Philippe's sister.  Their vineyards are spread across four communes: Saint Patrice, Ingrandes de Touraine, Benais and Restigné. The domaine has a remarkable cellar of old wines dating back to 1893. The grapes are pressed directly without any skin contact, hence the delicate pale pink colour – like a vin gris. It is vinified in stainless steel and bottled in February. The delicious 2019 has soft pear and peach aromas with delicate mouthfilling fruit and remains fresh on the finish with no hint of the 13% alcohol.
