Such intesnsity on the nose of bright shiny Granny Smith apples, cooking apples and quince, with delicate licks of pecans, hay and blossom, giving the impression of an orchard at sundown. Elegant and precise. Bright and singing. The palate again has that savoury, hay element, and combined with really mouth-watering acidity it's a moreish mouthful. There's a real pithy bitterness to even out the rounded richness and well-integrated oak. Good length.
