This organic wine, from Domaine Gayda's Vincent Chansault and Argentina's José Galante from Bodegas Salentein, won Silver at the 2017 Decanter World Wine Awards, but is still drinking beautifully now. Savoury spiced leather notes from well-integrated oak accent bright mulberry fruit on the chalky-textured palate. Earthy, inky and very tasty – a perfect match for date night steak frites.
