Foncalieu were the first to plant Albariño grapes in south west France choosing the small commune of Puichéric and the experiment as paid off. This has distinct exotic aromas of pineapple and banana paired with pear, lime and apricot. On the palate there’s an immediate zing – extremely fresh and lively acidity makes the mouth water with vibrant citrus flavours offset by a soft and creamy vanilla note. A delicious wine and one to seek out to compare with Spanish variations. Certified vegan friendly.
