Lovely nose, just starting to open up now. Herbal liquorice and iodine notes, it's a fragrant style of Bandol. Soft, welcoming, ripe and juicy. Powerful; the alcohol is a touch warming but not too excessive. Very long finish, really mouthfilling. Still so full of fruit at 16 years old.
