A little paler than some. Really quite reductive nose, and a touch of VA. Powerful for sure. Lovely blue fruits: blueberry, sloe, damson. Has some wild saltiness on the palate and fibrous tannins. Fresh, balanced, lively style, feels quite contemporary, but still has good Bandol character, and a long finish. 58-year-old vines on average, no winemaking additives apart from sulphites.
