Rosé

From the coastal region around La Londe, this rosé is atypical of Provence. It’s made with 90% Tibouren (a local variety), natural fermentation and ageing for 12-18 months in 100-year-old large German beer barrels, with sometimes a delicate layer of flor which preserves freshness. 

The wines have an intense wild raspberry fruit character with a hint of rich, creamy nuttiness and long, fresh, saline acidity. A rosé which has proven to age well. 

Cuvée Caroline, another of Clos Cibonne’s rosé labels, is aged in new oak barriques and commands a higher price.
