The 2024 vintage of Mirabeau's estate wine, made with the fruit from the vineyards they own, is a lesson in sophistication. The oak work is tuned perfectly to the fruit, creating great balance between nutty complexity and bright shiny berry fruit. Textured like brushed cotton, it's soft but also has some structure to it, almost gauzy. There's something incredibly moreish about it, and it reminds me of cashew butter and blood orange.
