Made to express true Bandol character with a high percentage of Mourvèdre, evident in the aromas of soft sweet strawberry jam fruit and a touch of the reductivity typical of the variety in its youth. On the palate this is a rosé which shouts Bandol. Mourvèdre’s ability to handle more oxidative winemaking helps to create a rich, ripe fruit structure with complex layers of cassis,mulberries, strawberries and a touch of perfumed quince. A long, fresh, saline, mineral elegance and vibrant freshness balances the intense concentration.
