Deeply coloured. Feels very youthful and vibrant, with hibiscus notes. An upright, medium-bodied style of Syrah. It has some spicy elements, reminiscent of a Crozes-Hermitage, and similar small, crunchy tannins – but it has that straight Lirac profile. One plot, mainly Syrah, on sandy soils with pebbles. Destemmed and fermented in concrete, followed by six to nine months maturation in demi-muids. This cuvée is not made every year.
