Touch of menthol and seaweed, which is quite characteristic of Costières de Nîmes reds. Lovely balance; intense but fresh and lifted, with very good acidity. Dark fruited, with plum, damson and a touch of prune – it's taking on some development now at seven years of age, and still has several years of good drinking ahead of it. Grapes were cofermented.
