Still quite reserved and tight on the nose at 10 years of age. Raspberry, plum and iodine come with air. Lovely sense of freshness and drive on the palate, serious intensity and driving acidity. Refined tannins, and plenty of them, though the alcohol is quite high. Fresh and saline. Needs more time to come out of its shell; might score higher when ready. Grown on red sandstone.
