White

In the 16th century, this estate was a silkworm farm; it refocused on viticulture in 1930. In 2015, it was bought by Christian Latouche, owner of two estates in nearby Les Baux-de-Provence – Domaine des Terres Blanches and Domaine de la Vallongue. His white Lirac, a blend of Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne and Bourboulenc, comes from clay limestone soils with a carpet of rolled pebbles. Matt Walls: Fresh, precise, detailed. Good fruit, enough concentration on the palate and an enjoyable, tucked-in Lirac character. Good length. Heather Dougherty: Lemon posset, herbs, some persistence. Quietly intense, with saline freshness on the lingering finish. Alexandre Freguin: Engaging herbal and floral scents: screams of its origins. Textural, balanced, lively but with substance. A solar accent combined with balance and delicacy.
