Owned by the Brunel family of Chateau de la Gardine, this wine is made from hand-harvested fruit fermented in 225l and 350l oak barrels. It remains on its lees for six months with regular battonage. Tightly wound for now, it shows notes of macadamia, lime blossom and subtle marzipan. It's full-bodied, with a silken texture and vinous style, displaying focus and energy on the palate despite the lack of aromatic vibrancy at this stage. Needs time but could be a winner.
