This has a touch of juniper and clove to the blackberry fruits, a touch of well-judged oak, too. Then it's fresh on the palate, really vital and brisk. There's driving acidity, real clarity and intensity. It takes off like a racing car, finishing long. Not the fullest or most concentrated, but has great structure and energy. Give it a year for the oak to integrate fully.
