Sweet oakiness on the nose, vanilla and honey. Very full-bodied, the oak is evident in aroma and texture. It's a 2017, but this is delicious now, in a good stage of maturity. Notes of burnt sugar are present on the finish. The fruit underneath is powerful and rich. The oak is an important part of the wine undoubtedly, it's for lovers of oaked wine. Pear and pineapple come through on the finish of this long, powerful Visan blanc.
