Lots of iron and blood, it smells like a rare steak. Only medium-bodied, it's brisk and fresh, with a good sense of tension and acidity. Taut, with a tremulous finish. Has a certain athletic side to its nature. It's not overly generous in fruit, just very classic Cornas. 60-year-old vines from lieux-dits Combe, Patou, La Côte, Les Mazards and Chaillot. 20% whole bunch, 20% new oak.
