This has a certain measured sobriety for a southern Rhône Grenache, it's balanced and softly savoury. There's a dusting of Provençal herbs on the palate, finishing fresh, with a gentle mineral sheen. A southern Rhône from terroir that's incorporated within the Côtes du Rhône Villages Vaison-La-Romaine appellation, but bottled as Vin de France. One to watch.
