Lovely herbal aromatic expression with bay leaf and juniper. This is soft, easygoing, plump and generous. Fine tannins support a fresh and detailed style, it’s not huge or powerful and there’s no excess oak or alcohol. Drinkable now, and will age with interest too. From 50-year-old vines grown on the Cône de la Font des Papes, a geological cone made of sandy clay with limestone fragments. Grapes were hand harvested, fermented then aged for 12 months in stainless steel and concrete.
