This has real concentration of fruit - damson, blackberry, plum - and is not quite as overtly ripe as his 2017. The tannins are ample, massy, ripe. There's some sonorous depth here, and length. A gentle menthol element brings complexity, and the balance is good. Harmonious.

Biodynamically grown, all destemmed, plots fermented separately, light extraction, light filtration, no fining. Matured in stainless steel for around 15 months before release.
