A selection of the best tanks, matured for 20 months in oak before bottling without fining and a light filtration. A little closed on the nose at time of tasting, so needs a decant or a little longer in bottle – but powerful on the palate. Very intense, driving fruit, acidity and powerful bulging tannins. The alcohol is a little high, but it’s a nonetheless impressive Cairanne. Tannins are soft and supple, but massy and strong. Great depth, and very long. Is an imposing wine that needs food.
