The oak work is present but doesn't dominate, it adds some spice and polish. Smooth, satin-textured, fine and elegant palate. Plenty of fruit and concentration. The oak work tightens up the finish and adds a dab more tannin. Quite a dark and savoury style of Ventoux, structured and fresh.
