A touch of grapefruit skin on the nose, a touch of raw fennel, a little musky thanks to the sensitive use of oak. Full and round on the palate, I'd drink this with rich chicken or fish dishes. Bitter almond finish cleans the palate on the finish, interestingly textural. Very Provençal. Made by a French wine writer turned winemaker. Consultant is Philippe Cambie. Aged in demi-muid.
