Very Hermitage on the nose, this has presence and an assertive profile. Not massive on the palate, but it has fine tannins and good weight. Oak use is robust but well-integrated, this has good shape and length, though it does impart a touch of dryness on the finish. An elegant Hermitage with a good sense of typicity. From 40-year-old vines grown on granite, with a 15 month élevage in new oak.
