Dark in colour still, to match the dark fruit characters. It has a great sense of purity. Plenty of tannin, it could use a little more time to soften, but the fruit is still vibrant and the tannin ripe, so that shouldn't pose a problem. Long, focused and fresh. With herbal complexity at its heart, it’s perfectly balanced. Will be very good when ready. Vines from five to 100 years old, 30% whole bunch.
