A little brown sugar and baking spice makes for a complex aromatic display. Full-bodied, lush, with lovely unctuous blackberry and strawberry fruits. Powerful, long and complex, still with punchy tannins and high alcohol. A titanic of a wine that's verging on 'too much' but it should please lovers of traditional Châteauneuf immensely. The concentration is off the charts, making for a wine of immense presence, muscle and density. Pure Grenache, grown on sand, fermented and aged in stainless steel.
