Lovely pure-fruited aromas – wild and brambly, crushed blackberries and herbs. Silky tannins glide across the palate, with a cooling menthol touch adding lift. There’s a lovely tactile sensation here, the tannins almost brushing the teeth. The finish grows chewier and slightly ferrous with a herbal edge. At this price it's an obvious pairing for a mid-week chilli con carne.
