A floral, violet-scented style of pure Grenache with bright raspberry aromas. It's round on the palate, with 15% alcohol but you don’t feel it as it's very fresh and vibrant. There's juicy raspberry acidity and a slightly warming finish. It has a silky texture, the tannins are ripe and it's very drinkable for a 2022. A balletic style of Châteauneuf, slightly reminiscent of Le Clos du Caillou in style, despite the very different terroir. Malty finish. Aged 12-18 months in barriques and demi-muids.
