A little bottle stink on opening, but so fresh and lively still, there’s serious finesse here. It’s young still, and remarkably structured, though the tannins are just a little drying. No excess alcohol, however. A parcel selection of 32-year-old vines. Remarkable ageing potential for a ‘named village’ wine.
