This has subtle aromas that lean towards floral, with gentle green herbal and heather notes; ‘pear flower’ according to owner Marie-Pierre. The acidity is deep set and gentle, yet this is still very fresh, an exceptionally fine expression of pure Clairette. No reduction here (Clairette can suffer from that). Bags of personality. A wine that's very much about texture and energy rather than overt aromatics.
