This is the first wine to be made in Domaine La Collière's new winery. Planted on blue and red clay over limestone, it's remarkably spicy for an unoaked wine - all fermented and aged in concrete. It's very clear and precise, with no excess weight or extraction and lovely transparent raspberry and blackberry fruits. The gentle tannins are very fine, and there's lovely freshness too. A really elegant style, very pure and very drinkable. There's no Fontaine in 2017 due to low yields.
