Autumn leaves, sweet earth and forest floor. Richly fat on the palate, with remarkably sweet fruit, squashed strawberries, then finishing with plenty of robust sweet tannin. Enjoyably mature now, but with plenty of time ahead of it. Fifty-year-old gobelet trained Grenache from the north and west of the appellation, 10% matured in demi-muid.
