Full-bodied, surprisingly rich in the mouth, almost oily, with a touch of honeyed maturity. Nicely balanced acidity. A bit short on fruit perhaps, and time to drink up, but enjoyably mature and has some personality. Grown within the Côtes du Rhône Villages Massif d'Uchaux AOC territory, but that appellation is currently reserved for red wines only.
