<p>This is rounded and smooth, elegant and fruity. It&rsquo;s ripe with remarkable persistence of fruit for the vintage alongside touches of lavender and liquorice to the dark fruit profile. A lovely shaped wine which is remarkably drinkable. Great value. A blend of Grenache Noir (50%), Mourv&egrave;dre (20%), Carignan (15%), Syrah (15%), on southeast facing clay marl slopes just north of the village of Rasteau, in organic conversion. Hand-picked, 30% whole bunch fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks, then 20% is moved to old barrels for 16 months before bottling.</p>
