Pencil lead notes on the nose. Fuller and more generous in body than the nose suggests with good acidity - neat and precise even in a hot vintage. Very drinkable. From a relatively new estate in the extreme west of the southern Rhône in the foothills of the Cevennes. An excellent producer across its range, but this Syrah-based cuvée is regularly extremely good and good value for under £20. Try it instead of a Crozes-Hermitage.
