85% from the lieu-dit of Le Méal, the rest from the lieu-dit of Les Greffieux, all from 60 year old vines yielding 15 hl/ha. Half the crop was destemmed. The nose is dense and compact, quite closed at this time. It's full-bodied but not massive, with a creamy texture in the mouth. It's soft and yielding despite the generous tannic load, a spicy, peppery, herbal style that's really vivid, fresh and concentrated. Well balanced and buzzing with energy, this isn't far off his epic 2015.
