Smoky intensity on the nose; there’s clearly some strong Syrah here. This has a good concentration of fresh, clean, pure fruit and very fine tannins, with serious grip and intensity. It’s fairly rich – but not overly heavy or alcoholic – and has a long finish. Give it a couple of years for the tannins to soften. Certified Haute Valeur Environnementale.
