This is Vin de France, but made in the Diois. It's a pétillant naturel rather than a Crémant de Die and does throw a little sediment. A little more leesy than a typical Crémant de Die with some meadow flowers and bread dough notes. Fine fizz, very fresh and drinkable. Finishes fresh and clean on fennel and green apple. Very well balanced, a highly successful experiment that really captures Clairette's freshness. Lovely sense of drinkability. Bottled in a 33cl glass bottle and sealed with a crown cap.
