Mature now, taking on some honey, burnt sugar and cashew to the apple compote fruits. There's a forthright oxidative note throughout the wine that some might find off-putting, but the freshness on the palate, complexity and length are what I enjoy. It's a wine with strong character that might be too unusual for some. But not for me at least. Brown butter, almond and cedar on the finish. Try it.
