Very black in the glass as always, with aromas of black pepper and cinnamon. Only medium-bodied, but fresh and direct, with a focused feel, it's so enlivening on the palate. Although it has driving, blackcurrant-like acidity, it finishes quite tight, and there's ample tannin but it needs time to soften. A blend of all the estate's vineyards in Vinsobres, malolactic takes place in foudres, then it's aged 12-15 months.
