Lifted, fresh, detailed and delightful nose. Rose petals and cedar, very Côte Blonde in style. No excess oak or excess ripeness; a very fine, very drinkable Côte-Rôtie of clarity and purity. Not terribly concentrated, so I would drink sooner rather than later, but this is a wine of class and very good winemaking. Granite soils, 20% new oak.
