Spicy plum and damson fruit, it's open and ready. Enjoyably soft and ripe, no lack of fruit, it's not dilute. Gently warming but not boozy, this is a ripe and well-made, well-balanced winter warmer. A touch of bitterness to the tannins on the finish and no great length, but not bad at all for £5.49.
