Pear and melon hints to the peach fruit, and plenty of floral notes alongside the spicy cinnamon oak. Typically voluminous and generous on the palate, with plenty of rich opulence to the texture. The acidity is low, as is typical for Condrieu, but there's an inner tension and salinity that's further emphasised by the oak, which is quite evident but well integrated on the palate. A large, broad, fairly well-oaked style of Condrieu, and highly enjoyable. Old vines on a southeast-facing slope.
