Restrained on the nose, the aromas feel quite closed and inward, both on the nose and palate. There's freshness here however, partly from the Clairette, even though it's quite weighty and textural. Certainly feels lifted and breezy despite the richness. Long finish; not ready yet, but great potential. From vineyards situated between 300m and 400m above sea level.
