Still darkly coloured. Fresh and lifted, with coffee bean and vanilla; still needs some time to come out of its shell. On the palate however its beautiful; full-bodied, but so fine, so delicate, so fresh. Perfect acid balance, then lifted aerial aromatics – floral top notes, berry mid-range, espresso and spice. Great textural elegance, divine finesse. The oak is still forthright and needs time to integrate; best from 2030. Gneiss soils, all destemmed.
