Sainsbury's, Taste the Difference Discovery No57 Orange Wine, South France 2025

A first for Sainsbury's, which joins M&S and Aldi in adding an own-label orange wine to its range. A blend of Grenache Blanc, Grenache Gris and Macabeu, with time on skins for added texture and colour. Aromas of peach, apple skin and spicy dried orange peel lead to a subtle orchard fruit palate with stone fruit hints. A good place to start if you haven't tried orange wine before; the grippy texture makes it a good food wine too.
