Gooseberries and crisp green apple aromas on the nose - this smells fresh and inviting, round and present on the palate, this has grip and intensity from the start, succulent and nicely mouthwatering. Cool and very slightly creamy towards the finish with some stewed apple and wet stone, graphite minerality. Made from 40-year-old vines that are clones from the Loire Valley and are fermented and aged in oak vats with gentle lees stirring for the first two months.
