There's some confection here with a sweet strawberry and red cherry flavour. The palate is lively with plenty of appeal offering creaminess alongside zesty acidity. It's slightly more unusual in character than some of the others in the line-up but is really interesting and gives a nice mix of fruit, oak and spice. Refreshing tannins and a lift at the end makes you want more but it also has a depth that makes you think this is a serious wine.
