Jammy fruit flavours on the nose,  port-like with prunes and raisins. The texture is thick and rich, filled with dense cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant as well as dark chocolate and some tobacco. It's heady and full on with some oak spice underpinning but enough freshness and acidity that the alcohol is not overt.
