Black fruits on the nose here. On the palate there's heady, rich, sumptuous fruit, almost confected but it retains enough acidity and brightness to carry it off. It's definitely more of a rich style - a food wine for sure with lashings of oak adding to the complexity. There's a touch of spice on the finish but with time this will integrate and soften. Good to drink now or wait several more years.
